about

Ford Proco is pleased to mark the 20th anniversary of its album "Fragmentos de Ocio en el Hocico del Cerdo." First available on cassette in November 1993 and a few months later on CD, the album of electronic music was released by Opcion Sonica in Mexico City.
Now, 20 years later, the band is celebrating with a special rerelease of the original tracks mastered by Diego Martinez of Lumenlab in Guadalajara, Mexico.
"Fragmentos de Ocio en el Hocico del Cerdo," which was recorded between Fall 1991 and Winter 1993, explores a wide range of electronic music, including acid, electro punk, cut-and-paste and industrial soundscapes. The cover was designed by renowned artist Gerardo Yepiz, who has worked closely with the band for many years.

Ford Proco has had several lineups throughout its years and has released three full-length albums. The group has shared the stage with many musicians in concerts throughout Mexico and Southern California. Band member Wito Lavolt has performed with many artists from Tijuana and has helped co-produce their tracks. In addition to being in Ford Proco, Robert Proco is a DJ and radio producer. Together, the two also play in The Polardroids.

Ford Proco has also collaborated with musicians including Aviador Dro from Spain and Coil ex-members John Balance and Peter Christopherson.

Associated acts: RUR (with Pepe Mog of the Nortec Collective), Fetiche, Bostich, Artefakto, Motoroxido, El Rastro.
